When I read the article on Porto Arabia, touched me! The curiosity hold in more than a year. The earnest desires get fulfill: my latent desire arouse again when one of my friend Mr. Toms made a plan of visit. on 24th February 2012, we Mr. Toms, Mr. Sumeet and myself headed towards the Manhattan of Qatar.
We had hired Texi. Driver was Tunician. An extrovert and amicable fellow. I like his flexible nature, took us to the destination. We were about to chase the “HAUWA” in Mr. Toms’s language; the curiosity which was to be over within the moment.
At the entrance of Perl Harbor a suited smart guy was there we met a security staff luckily he was also from Nepal he guide us since we all were new to there? I also asked whether there is any objection for taking photo.
“No! No problem sir as much as you like you can take photo” he spoke in the reply.
As per his instruction we move ahead. While we entered to the harbor line at the first glance it is wao ! I was spellbound with the mesmerizing beauty of the vicinity; noble sentiments in me that sparks from the anvil. Toms was commenting me “Kaass koi chija to tumhe achhi lagi”. In fact it is the same what I read in the ISOLA “the place having a wonderful view of residential towers lining the Riviera while at the same time featuring a boardwalk filled with stores with luxuriant shopping spots. I absolutely adore the ambiance of the buildings, the way they are constructed and made to look so flawless”
Moreover, amazingly decorated plants, flowers; pleasant music arranged in synchronize severally; at the root of the plants and flower vase, each corner and paths was listening the melodious music. Adequate strolling and seating area, charming blue water, beautiful ultramodern cruisers, strolling handsome and beautifuls with attractive and smart dress. Lovers gossiping, kids playing, olds sharing experience moving, eating, playing enjoying so many things at once.
“Oh! They are putting Bose! This is the world famous brand. I love it” showing mounted part of sound system Mr. Toms justified.
Every plant and vase were well maintained and matched with color. We reached near a plant, it has amazing trunk formed a wire mess was spread in equal branch with green leaf; it is looks like the same as Somi which available in Nepal and it has great ritual significances in Hindu methodology. Mr. Sumeet impressed with the bonsai art of that plant we shoot some snaps of it and mover to other verge a couple moving across to us cute babies were mimicking and juggling, I smiled to them, they too. I took a snap from a distance.
A mystery, soft, soothing and gentle, blooming flowers like the whisper of a child murmuring in happiness in its sleeps. We seat turn by turn and captured it’s beauty along with us in the camera. We took a circular round one edge to another. We walk and walk until tired. Watched as much as eye can hold. At the end point some snaps taken, Mr. Sumeet cover him on the arm “ How will be this” he asked. “Don’t do over as other say like Gay” Mr. Toms spoke in hesitation. I captured them with the infinity blue see on the back.
We all tired, thirst, and hungry. From the beginning Toms was wondering for Turkiss, he checked for possibility but…. . We entered in one supermarket. Collected edibles and drinks, quenched the thirst and satiated the hunger. Mr. Toms took long puffs with Powerhorse Coca however his using brand not available in the Spinney. Sunlight going weak, the dusk steeping to the harbor area, we didn’t have sufficient clothing, specially Mr. Sumit was in thin Tshirt. After having breakfast we caught a taxi for City Center.
As a whole Pearl Island life is great. Living in Doha can be quite tough at the best of time, but living in a place with such a strong sense of community, a variety of fantastic restaurants and plenty of shopping options certainly make things a whole lot easier to bear. Exclusive, luxurious, safe, relaxed, glamorous and friendly- all words that can be used to describe life in the Pearl Qatar.
